Water Damage in Santa Ana, CA

Unfortunately, this vacant home in Santa Ana was vandalized. As a result of the vandalism, a broken pipe in the attic caused water damage throughout the home. The attic was so saturated with water that the ceiling above the Kitchen gave way, sending the insulation, drywall, etc. to the floor. Due to the home being vacant, the water continued to pour into the home, eventually flooding all the rooms. The water sat in the home for what appeared to be days. By the time SERVPRO of Garden Grove East/Anaheim Central arrived on site to assist, it was necessary to "flood cut" all the walls in every room, up 2 ft. We were able to save some areas of the home and dry those materials in place but unfortunately because of the extent of the water damage a lot of materials such as flooring and cabinetry had to be removed.
