Mold Can Sometimes Be Hidden

Sometimes mold can be hidden behind the drywall or behind the baseboards. In this particular case, this Anaheim family had water damage in their home from a pin hole leak in a cold water copper line above the ceiling. The water damage affected the ceiling, walls, baseboards and floors. The drywall was damaged beyond restoring and had to be removed. Once we removed the drywall we discovered mold on the wood studs. Believe it or not, mold problems like this can be mitigated with the right expertise and equipment. SERVPRO of Garden Grove East/Anaheim Central has trained technicians that were able to test and remove the mold growth, and then restore the space to preloss conditions. The family was very grateful that we were able to recover their home and protect them from any potential health effects.
