Slab Leak Causes Damage to Flooring in Garden Grove, CA

Water damage can be devastating especially when it's a slab leak because the water is coming from underneath the floor and isn't visible right away.

This home in Garden Grove, CA experienced just that. The water leak affected their floors and walls in several rooms. Here's a before and after photo of the damage and the repairs. SERVPRO® always tries to restore materials first by drying them in place but in some cases, we cannot dry in place. For example, this customer had laminate floors throughout the home. Laminate cannot be restored so unfortunately we had to remove it. We also removed baseboards to gain access and assist in drying the walls completely. Once the walls were dried to goal, we were then able to begin the repairs. We installed brand new flooring throughout the home, replaced the baseboards and once we were done, it looked "Like it never even happened."
